CASA is a national, volunteer-based organization that trains people to become volunteer advocates for children. CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties is a non-profit agency and has been serving locally abused and neglected children since 1990!

Stars Dancing for CASA

The 13th Annual Stars Dancing for CASA will be on April 12, 2025, at 7:00 pm at Terra State Community College SAC Center, 2830 Napoleon Rd, Building C, Fremont, OH. This fundraiser is patterned after the popular television show, Dancing with the Stars, and puts the “fun” in fundraiser! Well-known celebrities in the community, or “stars,” will be raising money and competing against one another!

Dancers are paired up with professional or experienced dancers. Each couple will present their dance routine at the event. Guests will then be given the opportunity to vote for the dancer of their choice, each dollar donation counts as one vote. The dancer with the most votes will be declared the winner of the People’s Choice Award. The judges will also be scoring the dancers on their performance and declare the winner of the Judge’s Choice Award. This will be a year you don’t want to miss and tickets will sell fast so make sure you get yours and enjoy a night of legendary performances, a delicious dinner, cash bar, while supporting a great cause!

CASA’s Cash Cow

Calling all bingo and farm animal lovers! The second annual CASA’s Cash Cow will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Wyandot County Fairground’s Indoor Arena, 10171 OH- 53, Upper Sandusky, OH, from 11 AM – 2 PM. Stop out to play life-size bingo, with a twist! Purchase a 3ft x 3ft bingo square for $20, around 11:30 AM our two guests of honor will be released onto the bingo field, and if your lucky square is the first to catch a “cow pie” you will be going home with $1,000! A “Power Plop” option will also be available for $5, you can choose which cow (Ginger or Daisy) will relieve themselves first. If you have chosen correctly, and your square is the lucky winner, you earn an additional $100! You do not need to be present to win.

 

The event is free to the public, so come out and watch the sh** show! As we wait for Ginger and Daisy to do their business, you can enjoy raffles and Wyanstock festivities! If neither cow has granted a lucky square with a deposit by 1:30 PM, a winner will be chosen through a raffle.

 

Stop out early to meet Ginger and Daisy, get your photo taken with the stars of the show, and grab your bingo tickets before they sell out! Bingo squares are also available for purchase before July 6th through Venmo (@casaofssw), our website, or calling our office to coordinate payment with cash, check, or credit card. There are only 256 bingo squares available, so call 419-209-1442 to get your tickets before they sell out!

Tiffin Zombie Run

The 8th Annual Tiffin Zombie Run 5k run/walk and 1-mile walk fundraiser will take place October 19, 2024, at Steyer Nature Preserve. Runners will try to finish the race without having the zombies, who are hidden throughout the course, steal one of the sashes they will be wearing! All ages are welcome, costumes are encouraged, and there will be a costume contest for those that dress up.

Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the race starts at 10:00 AM. The award ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM. Refreshments provided. Register online to be guaranteed a t-shirt or sign up in person the morning of the race.

Baumann Car Charity Raffle

We are currently selling 22nd Annual Baumann Auto Group Big Charity Raffle tickets this summer and fall! The winner will be able to choose between a new Chevrolet Trailblazer, a new Ford Maverick, a new Jeep Compass, or the $20,000 cash option! The winning ticket will be pulled on November 9, 2024! Contact any of our offices to be able to purchase a ticket for $5 with cash, check, credit card, or Venmo. Proceeds to benefit CASA!
